Student Progression and Placement

All the postgraduates are placed in recognized professions like Assistant professors, school psychologists, clinical psychologists and counsellors. About 10% students enroll for higher qualifications. Ninety percent of undergraduates proceed to postgraduation in the same discipline, five percent of students move to other disciplines like MBA and MSW and five  percent pursue alternative employment possibilities.

In 2024, 13 students of the Department of Psychology got placement as Consultant Psychologist in Hugcare Psychology Consultancy Firm.

Ms. Swathimol P. S * appointed as Assistant Professor, School of Behavioural Sciences, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam, Kerala,  in 2019 *(UG – 2009-12 & PG 2012-2014, Department of Psychology, Union Christian College)

Appointment as Clinical Psychologist

Mr. Albin Eldhose cleared Kerala Public Service Commission test and is appointed as Clinical Psychologist at the District Hospital, Kanjangad, Kasaragod district, under Kerala Health Services (04 August 2023)
